Kaleema Music

Heidi Lewandowski (a.k.a Kaleema) is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer and vocalist from Buenos Aires based in Berlin who has managed to become a female reference in Latin American electronica after the release of her two studio albums "Nómada" (Tropical Twista Records, 2017) and "Útera" (Wonderwheel Recordings, 2021).

Trained as a classical violinist, Kaleema's music speaks of a discourse that marks a creative concept full of nuances, arrangements and prolific melodies, combining academic formality with an exquisite sound architecture & sophisticated electronic compositions alongside her characteristic vocal line in her production.

She released her debut album "Nómada" in 2017, receiving a variety of critical acclaim, triggering her solo career and leading her to play on some of the most renowned international electronic stages such as Lollapalooza, MUTEK Montréal, Primavera Sound, Fusion Festival, ADE, Garbicz, among others.

She studied Music Production at SAE in NY and Music Composition at the Catholic University of Argentina and participated as a violinist in several orchestras. Later she immersed herself in the study of synthesis, and deepened her studies on music composition with Mónica Cosachov, mentor of some of the most influential Argentinian artists such as pianist Marta Argerich.
